Qingdao Hot Spring International Convention Center & Resort Complex, located in Aoshan Bay Area, was designed by NBBJ from the USA and will be capable of hosting different international and domestic large-scale exhibitions. The completion of the Qingdao Hot Spring International Convention and Resort Complex project, along with Qingdao CTI Sea Spring Bay Resort Complex, and the Jiaozhou Bay Bridge, will play an active role in upgrading the ongoing development of Qingdao’s high-end tourism industry.
The Nanshan Group invested 5 billion RMB for Phase I which includes the construction of the hot spring international expo center, a five-star hotel, an international business center, botanical gardens, and yacht club and will be capable of accommodating about 2 million tourists per year. With a total investment of over 36 billion RMB, the Aoshan Bay Area will become an important tourism and resort area in Qingdao.
