How to get to the Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport?
The Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport (青岛胶东国际机场) is located approximately 39km (24 miles) from central Qingdao (Fushan Bay Area). The airport can be reached in about 52 minutes by Metro Line M8 from the Qingdao Train Station, with a cost of 8 RMB (one way). If you are coming from downtown Qingdao you can take Metro Line M3 to the train station and then transfer to Metro Line M8 going to Jiaodong International Airport. A one way trip from downtown Qingdao to the airport should take around 72 minutes by metro and cost 8 RMB.
Currently a taxi between the Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport and the downtown Central Business District (CBD) should cost around 200 RMB depending upon the type of taxi, time of day, and destination.
